Faith and Community Inspire Alumnus to Give to Historic Project
Scott Smith ’91 was drawn to Samford University’s sense of faith and community, specifically through football. Smith comes from a family full of Samford graduates, and because of his experience, Smith is dedicated to giving back to current and future bulldogs. That's why the lifelong accountant is investing in students through giving to the new Campus Recreation, Wellness and Athletic Complex.
Oleg Turlac named Beeson Divinity School Alumnus of the Year
Since last February, Oleg Turlac and his ministry team have continued to share the gospel and serve refugees and others in countries near Ukraine. In recognition of his commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment in a time of crisis, Beeson Divinity School is proud to recognize him as the 2023 Alumnus of the Year.
